File this under “ways I did not expect to be spending a Friday afternoon.” Of course, this time last year I wouldn’t have guessed that I would spend the last several months of 2020 battling a potentially deadly infectious disease. Life is full of unexpected surprises.
In any case, I am #grateful for these doctors and researchers who were willing to share their expertise with us; the opportunity to learn even more about what the CDC has labeled a major health threat; and more knowledge and tools to continue recovery and ward off the unwanted recurrence.
